Time since the challenge began:
“May the wind always be at your back
and the sun upon your face.
And may the winds of destiny carry
you aloft to dance with the stars.”
We are two man team rowing 2500 Nautical miles (around 2900 land miles) across the Atlantic in December 2011. Starting from Gran Canaria in the landing up to 3 months later in
Barbados. The Atlantic rowing challenge is without doubt
one of the toughest rowing events in the world.
FACT: More people have successfully climbed Everest!
This race has claimed lives in the past and any attempt demands
serious respect not just for the environment being entered
but for the memory of those gone before.
We are competing in this event under the banner of
Parkinson’s UK, please learn more about our chosen
charity here...
and follow our journey from now until Barbados.
Thanks to Primetech, ARL communications, System Force IT and Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service the Oar Raisers will monitored
